Release Note

Miva Engine 3.7.1, released July 11, 2000, adds the following functionality:

Macro Modification
------------------
To increase your site security, macro execution has modified to filter external
commands that could be harmful to the system.

New Tags
<MIVA> Tag
A new attribute called DEFAULTMACROENCODING has been added to the
<MIVA> tag. This attribute will assign the default encoding type to all macros.
There are three values that can be assigned to the attribute:
Encoding used on an individual macro will override the default macro encoding.
none marcos have no encoding
entities macros are entity encoded
attributes macros are attribute encoded
